The Closet (2020)

The Closet er den første skrekkfilmen som ble sendt i Korea i 2020. Filmen, som forteller innsatsen til en far på jakt etter sin savnede sønn i skapet, spilte også Kim Shi-A. Tidligere hadde Jung-woo og Shi-A opptrådt sammen i filmen Ashfall.

Problemet i The Closet begynte da Sang-Won (Ha Jung-woo) forsøkte å forbedre forholdet til sin sønn, Ina (Kim Shi-A), etter konas død. En dag flyttet de til et nytt hjem.

Men arbeidet i stedet fremmedgjorde Sang-vunnet fra sin rene datter. Ina begynte sakte å vise unaturlig oppførsel. Ikke bare det, de hører også ofte merkelige stemmer fra skapet i det nye huset. Plutselig forsvant Ina sporløst.

Midt i bekymringene for å miste sitt eneste barn møtte Sang-won Kyung-hoon (Kim Nam-Gil) en mystisk mann som sa at skapet på barnerommet ble en av årsakene til at Ina forsvant. Sang-Won og Kyung-Hoon samarbeidet endelig for å finne Ina.

Før han spilte i The Closet, var Ha Jung-Woo tidligere kjent for filmer som The Chaser (2008), The Yellow Sea (2011) og The Berlin File (2013).

Mars 1979 hadde også The Handmaiden (2016), Tunnel (2016), Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017), Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days (2018), Ashfall (2019) og The Closet (2020).

I mellomtiden var Kim Nam-Gil tidligere kjent gjennom memoarer fra en morder (2017), Live Up To Your Name (2017) og The Fiery Priest (2019).
